Recruiting is the Key!
I spent 20-years in the Marine Corps, during that time I was a recruiter for three years. As a recruiter it is said that the only way to succeed is always-be-recruiting; recruit, recruit, recruit. Still, what I found out though, it is not really about quantitative recruiting, as much as it is qualitative. Here Marine Corps recruiting duty, and recruiting school is where I based and formulated my research on recruiting. A quality prospect is worth her, or his weight in gold.
Recruiting and your why
However, in order to withstand the test of time as most successful recruiters do, one must have a strong why! Why are you doing what you do? Why are you in this business? Do you want financial freedom; to meet financial goals, get out of the corporate-rat-race; bring home your mom from her Just Over Broke (J.O.B.), or, security from your downsizing job? I am here to tell you that whatever your why is, it must be bigger than you. Your why must be big enough to
motive and inspire you to want a change, and to do what it takes.
